Two weeks ago I was accidently shot. I have come out ok, but while I was in ICU my brother and mom told me they could come see me cause of work. I WAS JUST SHOT! Lucky to be alive. I know the truth was cause I'm no longer a JW.
My bubby and a friend chew my brother out and then he came up with new reason why he couldn't come out to see me. Then he said he and my mom would come out to see me last Saturday. That didn't happen because a Sister wanted to see them that was more important to them.
All of JW's are mentally sick due to the watchtower brainwashing, don't expect too much from them.
That is terrible. It is difficult to get used to JWs putting the cult before their own family. I hope you have a speedy recovery.
As the saying goes "You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family".
It's hard to understand people with a cult mentality. Have a speedy recovery and keep your true friends close as they are all you need.
Yes, keep your "true friends" close...sadly your family will not change, no matter how much you love them, they are caught up in a twisted, ignorant cult...love them as much as you can....embrace your friends....
