When our cong had the Drama, I was too young to be picked for anything.

Only ubber zealous or well connected get picked for dramas. Nowadays most of the dramas seem to be modern day rather than the old favourites. That being said as a sister not many roles out there, very much supporting cast. Simpering mother or sulky teen.
If I was given the choice I'd like to be offered the part of a baddie, Jezebel (I think as far as true blue baddies she is in a minority as far as female roles go) or perhaps Delilah. I would then decline as I have no intention of giving up evenings on mindless pap and certainly will not be attending the assembly.
