Imagine that you are....an ex- [insert religious organization here].
You no longer believe in the hocus-pocus rituals and you can see that many stories from scripture have been twisted and mis-told. You can see where agendas of power and control have been derrived from these teachings, using guilt and 'obligation to god' as a means of extortion of your time and money.
Imagine that you suddenly lose your job; then you cannot pay the mortgage. In the midst of all that you find out your child has a terminal illness and you have no health insurance. What's the next step?
Unemployment, social services, welfare. Perhaps you don't qualify for some things as long as you have an income of xx measley dollars a week. Finally the unemployment runs out. But now your wife has left you with two kids and one of them sick. How could you work a job and take care of two babies, too? You turn to the next dept. that may give you a few bucks.
Long story short, what happens when you have to go to [insert religious organization here] services for handouts? How do you compromise your soul to ask help from an institution that you know has been lying and bilking people all these years? Rather indignant to end up in that position isn't it?
Well, I have been watching things for a long time now. I have seen some things that I have not spoken of. But I also see what is coming.
Guess what? When you lost your home to foreclosure, and thought you could just "squat" because you had heard of people doing that---it backfired. Suppose that the bank, mortgage co., whomever... sent a moving van and court order and took all your furnishings out of your house while you were still there. Just suppose that further down the line, all your possessions ended up in a religious based thrift store.
Isn't it ironic that somehow things worked hand in hand so that the [religious institution], albeit indirectly, finally got everything you had and now they trade you a bowl of soup, but only after you come begging for it?
It is almost comical sometimes to see ex-JWs totally push lying doctrines aside to complain that WT does not operate any charities. Would you like them better if they operated a soup kitchen? Is that the only thing holding you back from staying in? Well, guess what? In the near future, you will kiss their ass to get a bowl of soup. There are things in the works. And many of these religious based organizations who have lost membership and felt financially hurt have regrouped under new names and new associations. It will be a shocking day when you finally realize who is behind the mask of some of these new groups.
Oh, it's not going to be a totally free ride and there will not be free hand-outs. When the problem of so many destitute people becomes overwhelming, they will be more selective in who they help. In being "selective" you will be judged according to their criteria. Oh, and you will be scanned and your records will be kept. If you can't raise yourself by your bootstraps and find yourself going back for seconds, you will be labeled as "chronic." Third time, you will probably strike out. They have so many others that need help and they have already "helped" you once or twice. That's it. The once or twice may have only been a sack of groceries to last almost a week if you really stretch it.
It appears to me that there is a plan to make people dependent on religious based organizations. They are waiting in the wings to take over this system. This will probably be the New System of God's Kingdom that you heard so much about.
