After reading another post /thread here about posters comments I thought of something that may or may not have been discussed here before.

Has anyone wrote to the WTBTS and told them about their treatment as a JW/Ex JW?

Either as a child or as a adult.

Do you think it would help in the recovery?

I know when I decided to leave I wrote them a letter saying what I felt they were doing wrong and what had happened in my life.
Years later I heard that they were concerned for me and they felt bad for how I was treated and what went on. They answered my letter at the time but it was a "careful what we say" type letter.

    I never made copies...grr..

    Anyway, it felt good.

Do you think it would help you?

I wouldn't stop at one either..as things happen in your life I would write them and let them know how the JW's are treating you..and make copies of it all.

    Just a thought...

If it feels empowering, I say go for it.

As for me and my household, I care little for informing them, nor their opinion. The responses to my family that I have seen were the worst collection of cliches absolving themselves of any wrongdoing that I could have possibly imagined.

Maybe if they get feedback of what they are doing to many families and the harm they are doing they will change their rules?..

    Hey, you never know!
