Watchtower, you've been livin' hell to me
You've busted me since nineteen sixty three
I've seen 'em come and go and I've seen 'em die
And long ago I stopped askin' why
Watchtower, I hate every inch of you.
You've cut me and you've scarred me thru an' thru.
And I walked out a wiser, weaker man;
Mister Congressman, you can't understand.
San Quentin, what good do you think you do?
Do you think I'll be different when you're through?
You bent my heart and mind and warped my soul,
your stone walls turn my blood a little cold.
Watchtower, may you rot and burn in hell.
May your walls fall and may I live to tell.
May all the world forget you ever stood.
And may all the world regret you did no good.
Watchtower, I hate every inch of you.
WATCHTOWER MAY YOU ROT AND BURN IN HELL

Howdy ya'll. San Quentin is one of my favorite country songs. (My favorite form of music is Jazz, not country. Johnny Cash is a big exception.) I was listening to it and realized I could change San Quentin to Watchtower and the result was very expressive, poignant, and truthful.
Bitter? Honestly...yes. Not like there was many years ago, but a residual bitterness remains. That's why I cannot get enough "bad" news about how the borg is faring, and how many people are being freed from Watchtower slavery.
I loved it when Greece outlawed Jay Dubbery! Though I'm fairly certain it is again legal.
