Do you know what the "socialized medicine" proposal was? It was Medicare. So, I wonder if the GOP is going to be true to Reagan's principles and propose abolishing Medicare...

I remember when Bob Dole was campaigning in the 1990's - he voted against Medicare as well.
He said something like "I knew it wouldnt work back in 1965, and it doesnt work now".......
I dont think its been a total disaster, just because older folks definitely deserve some kind of quality health care - but is Medicare quality health care, I guess that is the question? No easy answers, thats for sure.
