A blood substitute would be great. Still, it wouldn't mean that WTS is "right" about their blood doctrine.

Embryonic stem cells have the ability to make any body cell. The team based at Glasgow University is trying to train them to make red blood cells.

The WTS admits that this product is made from animal and human blood, yet because it is a smaller part hemoglobin, jws can choose to have it.
So if they are developing "red blood cells" from embryionic cells, could jws take it? I think not, not without some dancing around the issue by the WTS.

Dear Blondie,
thanks for posting those refs.
I think you are right that in the light of their present ridculous stance, they could not accept this safe blood,when it comes on the market.
But they have been trying to reverse out of the blood doctrine for a while now, it is just the backlash of litigation and people waking up that stops them from all-out saying it is reversed.
But they may find a way that "Noo Lite" directs them to use this new product, perhaps some of the great minds on JWN could think of a way they could do this without denying their old policy too much, and not leaving them exposed to lawsuits.
I know the concept of helping them wriggle out of their murderous, unscriptural blood doctrine is anathema to us, but it will SAVE LIVES , hundreds if not thousands.
The WT will not die any quicker if we do not do this, but many of their members, not a few just babies and children WILL die.

Actually, Wobble, they have already found a way to let jws "choose" this new product when it reaches the "hemoglobin fraction" stage. What the WTS ignores is that this is made out of stored blood.
