It just occurred to me a massive double standard on the part of the GB. I look forward to asking an Elder this one day if the time ever comes (jud com):
Why is it that the concept of stumbling only applies to the rank and file? The GB constantly tells the Witnesses to avoid stumbling your brother and is a very serious concept, but if you ever tell a Witness that you think something that the GB did stumbled you (like allowed people to die from disallowing organ transplants) they just tell you that you have to "rely on Jehovah and not on man alone."
The reason why they say this is because they HAVE NO OTHER ANSWER. The GB are immune to the responsibility about bloodguilt that they so avidly teach to their members. When they screw up it's "oops" and when members screw up it's "leaven fermenting the whole loaf."
Bah.
