Wow, the space shuttle this morning!

  I know it has become a boring experience for most, and normally I never watch.

  But this morning in the blackness of pre-dawn, on a clear sky in Central Florida....IT WAS SPECTACULAR! (I am approx. 50 to 75 miles from the east coast)

  The entire sky lit up as if it was dawn, and up came a huge spectacular red display that headed north east, over the coast of the U.S. I was able to watch for at least 4 minutes.

  The house shook for a about 30 seconds after it was out of sight.

  and to think, at one time we almost built a tower into heaven, now we just fly there.

  Cool, shame there's only three more shuttle launches, then it's no manned capability for the forseeable future.
