Facebook plays a big part in what I'm about to tell since all the players involved are either currently on Facebook or were on it when all this unfolded.
About 2 weeks ago my cousin starts trashing her mother, calling her names and screaming how her mother is a piss poor mother and now she's an orphan. Come to find out that my aunt (who's an on again off again jw - I think she's currently off) has chosen my cousin's BIL over her, has been with said BIL for close to a year (yeah there's sex involved - brrr gross, makes me sick just thinking about it) and BIL is currently in jail for assault and sexually battery on a minor (said minor may be the daughter of another cousin, the granddaughter of my aunt's oldest sister, who was under my aunt's care). My cousin blocked her mother off Facebook, I never friended my aunt, and my aunt has since shut her FB page down.
A few days after my cousin's ongoing rant started the BIL came on and started replying to my cousin's rants. Mind he's still in jail but somehow has access to a computer. The stupid a**hole then goes on to brag about how my aunt gave him access to the girl and how my aunt all of a sudden acquired amnesia when called by the district attorney to state what happened and how he just might get away with it because of the "stupid bitch" (his words not mine).
I went to this jerk's FB page, copied off he's confession, and converted it to pdf files. My husband then sent copies to the district attorney, the sheriff's department, and the police department of the county where jerkoff is being held. He was supposed to get out 30 days after his arrest but the latest I've heard is he's being held longer.
My aunt is playing victim, claims that he didn't do it and she didn't what kind of a person this jerk really was (he's been in and out of jail since he landed in town last year, my cousin warned her not to house this jerk, and he brags that he's been in and out of correctional and mental institutions for the last 30 years)...no one in the family believes her.
I have no idea what's happening with the girl. I might find out from my mother.
