I invite all to highlight any contradictions you may find.
    Happy reading...

"Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in you and your welfare. They want to be your friends and to tell you more about themselves, their beliefs, their organization, and how they feel about people and the world in which all of us live. To accomplish this, they have prepared this brochure for you.

"In most ways Jehovah's Witnesses are like everyone else. They have normal problems—economic, physical, emotional. They make mistakes at times, for they are not perfect, inspired, or infallible. But they try to learn from their experiences and diligently study the Bible to make needed corrections. They have made a dedication to God to do his will, and they apply themselves to fulfill this dedication. In all their activities they seek guidance from God's Word and his holy spirit.

"It is of vital importance to them that their beliefs be based on the Bible and not on mere human speculations or religious creeds. They feel as did the apostle Paul when he expressed himself under inspiration: "Let God be found true, though every man be found a liar." (Romans 3:4, New World Translation*) When it comes to teachings offered as Biblical truth, the Witnesses strongly endorse the course followed by the Beroeans when they heard the apostle Paul preach: "They received the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily as to whether these things were so." (Acts 17:11) Jehovah's Witnesses believe that all religious teachings should be subjected to this test of agreement with the inspired Scriptures, whether the teaching is offered by them or by someone else. They invite you—urge you—to do this in your discussions with them.

"From this it is apparent that Jehovah's Witnesses believe in the Bible as the Word of God. They consider its 66 books to be inspired and historically accurate. What is commonly called the New Testament they refer to as the Christian Greek Scriptures, and the Old Testament they call the Hebrew Scriptures. They rely on both of these, the Greek and the Hebrew Scriptures, and take them literally except where the expressions or settings obviously indicate that they are figurative or symbolic. They understand that many of the prophecies of the Bible have been fulfilled, others are in the course of fulfillment, and still others await fulfillment."

    Nice find Mr Biggs,
this is the part that got me:

"It is of vital importance to them that their beliefs be based on the Bible and not on mere human speculations..."

So how have they become one of the largest printing & publishng empires on the globe? By printing and selling ream and reams of "mere human speculations"!

    WHAT BS!!!

"They have made a dedication to God to do his will, and they apply themselves to fulfill this dedication. In all their activities they seek guidance from God's Word and his holy spirit."

They dedicate themselves to an Organization, not God, and they rely on WT's and Awakes for guidance.

I don't want someone in my life I can live with. I want someone in my life I can't live without.

They destroy free will and make their members feel reliant of the congregation, nothing else matters...
They control every aspect of a person's personal life, from what they want to wear, what hair color, and what type of car to own.
They are not a religion, but a cult.

"Let God be found true, though every man be found a liar."

Lets see which men are liars? All of them? Hmmmmmm
They claim that Jesus was a man do they not?
    Were the apostles men?
    Are the GB men?

With all these liars, how can you find truth?
Go directly to God, ask for the Holy Spirit yourself!
But wait, I am a liar too.
Gee things don't look too good here now do they!

So much for being "in the truth"

This really exposes the illusion of being here in a physical mind.
Nothing that can be contained within our physical minds is really true, it is but a model of what we believe truth to be that we have programmed into our brain. The model in our brain is not real, therefore everything we know is merely EGO.

    Wow!

Okay I changed the words around BIG TIME! But only in the sequence. I used about half of the words in that quote. Besides that, not a letter was changed. I took some liberties with punctuation, of course

"Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in you and your problems. They feel their beliefs are most obviously inspired of God.

Jehovah's Witnesses do believe that they should be teaching Biblical truth. But they themselves are perfect, inspired, and infallible. Take them literally. When it comes to religious teachings, the Witnesses strongly endorse the course of emotional fulfillment and not mere agreement with the 'inspired Scriptures'.

Many prophecies of the Old Testament, or Hebrew Scriptures, to which they apply speculations, indicate they still await fulfillment. (Historically, they have been fulfilled. Except, all of us understand the Bible to be figurative, or symbolic.)

It is of vital importance to God that you tell more people about how they have made mistakes in all their activities. Preach this in your discussions with them: "You want to live like everyone else, to have normal physical and economic experiences? This is test of the world! Diligently consider these needed corrections to your mind. Or else!...This brochure..."

Make friends with Jehovah's Witnesses. Have you heard of holy spirit? They received accurate guidance from it 66 times!

They will not feel at all God's expressions prepared for the others (religious creeds)!

Of course they rely on welfare. They urge you to make a dedication to their organization.

p.s.: that was a lot of work, but well worth it. Even I got more chuckles than I expected!

For a Christian, the greatest protection against a cult is his knowing who he is in Christ. Without this fortification, he is easy prey for wolves claiming Christ. His Christian armor is not properly fortified

    Regarding the WT text

Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in you and your welfare. They want to be your friends and to tell you more about themselves, their beliefs, their organization, and how they feel about people and the world in which all of us live. To accomplish this, they have prepared this brochure for you.

, the following, I feel, aptly applies to the WT:

    Matthew 7:

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Mt. 3:10 & Lk. 3:9

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Mt. 12.33
