Taking a leaf from the AA I think we should write a 12 step manifesto for ex-JW's.
My initial step inspired by Chickpea:
along with the righteous over-much shunning by the very ones whose company would drive me to suicide in paradise
"We came to realize the company of those who would drive us to suicide in the paradise was not worth Jack in the present"
ok - just another 11 steps to write.......

I think there should be a step to address the paranoia

Step 2 - Came to believe that getting away from the Kingdom Hall could restore us to sanity and get rid of the paranoia.
Turning Step 3 on its head:
Step 3: Made a decision to take back our will and our lives from those that claimed to represent a higher power.
Step 4: Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, its history, its policies, and its followers.
