But how do I get to the financials of these organizations? This is public info.
Is it possible to obtain Financial Statements for WTBTS?

Those would be federal documents. The IRS has instructions on how to obtain financial statements from nonprofits whose annual revenue is over a certain amount.
They say you are supposed to be able to request them from the org & the org must send them to you.
I tried that once and they never did, so I reported them to the IRS...and nothing happened.
I don't expect there is really anything salacious in the documents anyway.

I have a copy of the 2005 Annual report for the Australian branch. In Australia it can been obtained from asic.gov.au and if you go to http://www2.search.asic.gov.au/cgi-bin/gns030c?acn=002_861_225&juris=9&hdtext=ACN&srchsrc=1 it lists current Watchtower documents.

UK figures for 08/09- WTBTS of Britain is the trading arm , IBSA holds the properties and the cash on an arms length basis to ringfence the society from liability claims:
I understand that US charities don't have to publicly reveal financial details , though you might be able to get hold of them if you trail through credit rating agency records. My understanding from Bethelites is that the US operations of the WTS as a whole is worth "well over" two billion US$ in net assets (properties & investments). JWN poster expat Brit managed to obtain figures for the Pennsylvania operation but they are now over 10 years old - they show net assets of 634 million , excluding any of the Brooklyn & upper NY state properties.

Incredible info! how some of you find this stuff is amazing. Did a little math on the 5 finacial years income and expenditure in britain... over the five years, added up the 'not spent' differences and it comes to 18,329,109 pounds! it staggers me the money that comes in! The 2005 australian donations alone were 15.5 million dollars (thanks jwfacts) for the information). oz
