Was Jesus deaf? Or he just liked to ignore his apostles?

So in this passage Jesus is talking to his apostles for 3 chapters but it seems that he was ignoring his apostles or just wanted to be heard, what do you think?

    John 13:36-16:5

John 13:36 Simon Peter said to him: “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answered: “Where I am going you cannot follow me now, but you will follow afterwards.” 37 Peter said to him: “Lord, why is it I cannot follow you at present? I will surrender my soul in your behalf.” .......

John 14:1 “Do not let YOUR hearts be troubled. Exercise faith in God, exercise faith also in me. 2 In the house of my Father there are many abodes. Otherwise, I would have told YOU , because I am going my way to prepare a place for YOU . 3 Also, if I go my way and prepare a place for YOU , I am coming again and will receive YOU home to myself, that where I am YOU also may be. 4 And where I am going YOU know the way.”

5 Thomas said to him: “Lord, we do not know where you are going . How do we know the way?” .....

John 16:1 “I have spoken these things to YOU that YOU may not be stumbled. 2 Men will expel YOU from the synagogue. In fact, the hour is coming when everyone that kills YOU will imagine he has rendered a sacred service to God. 3 But they will do these things because they have not come to know either the Father or me. 4 Nevertheless, I have spoken these things to YOU that, when the hour for them arrives, YOU may remember I told them to YOU . “These things, however, I did not tell YOU at first, because I was with YOU . 5 But now I am going to him that sent me, and yet not one of YOU asks me, ‘Where are you going?

This was discussed a few days ago. The chapters were probably reshuffled into the wrong order.

I just want to put in another vote for my answer (not to try to force out other ways to imagine it): Jesus is given as speaking in the present (not past) tense in the 2nd example then explains why he brought the issue up: the grief of his folllowers about his future fate as it drew closer caused them to not want to ask about it.

Leo is quite correct, as usual.

But I have to admit, I could see Jesus ignoring them too, those whiney Mofus !
