If anyone has this book, could you please quote or scan whatever section covers Jeremiah 25 and the 70 years issue in that chapter?
Some in my family thought that a new Jeremiah release would answer my 'questions' about the 70 years interpretation. Now, I am sure they will be happy to hear about this book, thinking that 'Jehovah has provided the food at the proper time.' Well, I am anxious to see just what answers are coming from the 'slave'!

Yeah I'd love to see the new quotes too, especially concerning 29:10.
The wt is to smart to say anything and will take the same approach which they are using with evolution: They will state their position as a fact with a reference to 'Insight' and a couple of the 'good' quotes from 2 kings. No further explanation or arguments will be given. If there is anything about archeology, it will be in an appendix, and way more watered down than what they have previously puplished.

So we are going to be told that there are two overlapping generations? Why not three?
What happened to ole CTR and his bunch? They became anointed BEFORE 1914, and many lived to see the time of Uncle Joe Rutherford. Thus we have THREE overlapping generations who are merged into one nebulous organism, the first of which is being ignored as if it was never there.
If the Russell generation is jettisoned, how does the Watchtower justify its existence today?
I very much doubt the Jeremiah book will address the 70 year issue at all. If it does it will be cursory. Thinking about it I believe the focus of the book will be "How can we learn humility from Baruch?" and "what can we learn from Jeremiah's obedience".
Happy to be wrong if it is an actual prophecy commentary.
