Did you notice the WT's seemed to glorify the USA?

Lets begin by stating that i love our american cousins accross the pond!

What i'm talking about is the way the Watchtower and Awake mags seemed to be so biased towards only the USA. Constandly glorifing the US and seeming to tune the articles to a US reader. Making the measurements only in US terms too, EG only using dollars for stating amounts rather than anyother global currency like Yen, Euro, Sterling.

They seemed to bang on about the USA right up untill the big printing press was built in the UK and then they started banging on about 1919 bla bla bla instead.

I remembered it was so hard to defend my religon against people who said it was just American, when it so patently was!

My wife, born in Europe, is always commenting about how the photos of people engaged in field serve-us are always portrayed in American settings.

There's Sam & Sally Pioneer, witnessing to Mrs. Householder in her white wooden clapboard house in the suburbs with a Chrysler sitting in her driveway, near her perfectly manicured .25 acre lawn and picket fence.

95% of the world's population has never seen anything even remotely so Americanized, yet it is depicted month after month as a "normal scene".

Yep I'd have to agree with this it's very Americanised...used to put a lot of Brits off actually...mm maybe a good thing then? lol

The same is true of western way of dressings. The WTS founders were American afterall. The GB members are American and so is most of the 144,000 Watchtower- sponsored group of would be heavenly rulers. The Headquarters of JWs is in America. Alot of things are american directly or indirectly.
