Poor people, I actualy feel sorry for them. This is what happens when you believe in these archaic beliefs/writings.

I'm a nurse and I feel sorry for them too. They have such strong beliefs even though they are wrong. I sympathize with that.
If he wants the doctors to wait and not pull the plug, I feel sorry for him.
If he wants the doctors to wait before giving life saving treatment, however,...
Religions that have extreme beliefs especially.
Wait for prayers to work?
So are they saying gods work takes longer then doctors work?
Maybe god should get a few pointers from the docs, sit in on a operation or two, take some notes...

Curious, have they even considered that this is God answering their prayers? You know by providing doctors that know what to do to save the patient? Reminds me of the joke where someone was driving down the road asking for a sign from God whether or not he was going in the right direction. The driver passes road signs that say, road closed, bridge out, etc, all ignored by the motorist. The driver drives off the bridge to his death. Meets God in Heaven and asks, "Why did you not answer my prayers?" God replies, "I did, you were not paying attention."
I recall speaking a guy in church who had been seriously ill for a long while.
He eventually was diagnosed with what was wrong and had an operation.
He recovered and is now quite well.
I asked him if he prayed for healing.
he said he had.
I asked if it had worked
He said "Yes, God sent the right Doctor."
