I think in your shoes I'd just carry on as you are and not discuss it...it should be possible at that distance...change the subject or go off on tangents ...whatever. I'm sure its much less damaging that way, so that even if they 'know' they arent really sure you've left and therefore dont have to confront it in a big way....just my opinion though....by the way..Welcome to the forum, I hope it helps you as much as its helped me...
