Last week, I was in court for two days to testify in a custody hearing for the son of my best friend, who is a witness. She asked her husband, an elder, if I could ride with them. He said I could. So for two days, we sat together in court, and went to lunch together, and talked on the phone several times. The son's wife's family are all witnesses too, and they sat behind us in the courtroom, and never even acknowledged my presence, nor that of their son in law's parents. All of us were invisible. Hahahahha. I haven't been called to testify yet, and it is now put off for two weeks.
My friend called me this morning to tell me that one of the women at the KH told her yesterday that they came by the house to use their bathroom on Friday and no one was home, so they thought they must be off somewhere since the husband's truck was there too. What is funny is that my car was in their driveway too, and it's the same car I had when we were attending meetings and going in Field Service. The "sister" who was questioning her is a former very close friend of mine.
I told the elder on Friday evening that he may get called because I was with them, and he said "Bring them on. I hope they do call me."
