Well the district convention season is here! DW and MIL territory are due to go on the first weekend of July but that won't be happening as we are on holiday!
Add in that this weekend is a festival in town and the weekend after is a party the wife was more than keen to get the whole thing out of the way!
So last saturday they were off! Now MIL is getting old so it was a little touch a go if she would be able to do the whole day but what happened did make me smile!
Yours truely settled in to watch the world cup! Argentina vs Nigeria followed by a shower and some pre match training (beer) for the big game!
As I am cracking open the beer who walks in the door but the wife and MIL!
me - Oh your home early!
Mil - yes I wasn't able to sit, i was very uncomfortable.
me - oh thats a shame.
So on that wife is joining me for the big game! Whilst we are in the car on the way down to the pub I ask her how the assembly was and it comes out that she nodded off almost as soon as she sat down and did "nodding dog" impressions for most of the morning!
