In the new DVD they talk about ? Grew, who said that Scripture can be used to interpret scripture. My take on that info would be that I could learn the bible without a whole lot of auxiliary publications or help from someone "smarter" than me. But in the September 15 wt they go right back to our needing them to understand.

I think this edition of the watchtower is quite amazing. Its also the second watchtower in a row where they mention Russells old crap.

Sounds just like the Roman Catholic Church in the middle ages. The peasants weren't allowed to read the bible and relied on the priest to tell the the correct path.
