There was a small town outside of where I used to live - the local pub offered "Wings & Haircut - $10" on Friday nights.

My wife, who was from Daly City (suburb of San Francisco) took me on a visit to the Castro District in San Fran. I got a kick out of a barber shop that has a sign that listed a haircut was $12, back shave $7.50 and buttocks wax for $10. I hope the latter is done in a private setting.
