Of a book that came out recently that was a woman's comedic memoir of growing up as a JW. I remember the cover clearly, it was a picture of a little girl standing under an umbrella, with sun and green grass, and the umbrella was shielding her from armageddon with dark bldg's behind her and people running. It was either last year or earlier this year that it came out.

It's an excellent book, I read it yesterday. A lot of things to relate to, I married young as well, although not for quite the same reasons, they were still nowhere near the right ones and my ex-husband became controlling and did not care about how I felt or what I did while I was with him, only that I looked like a good jw wife and we were seen out in service and thought of as being spiritual.
I am reading this,it is frikkin' hysterical! I love the way she writes thngs down!Really,you guys should check it out,it was very cheap on Amazon,and Im getting a few copies for friends,You wil be amazed at what you forgot about growing up 'dub..Congrats,Kyria!
