    Remeber the blue book studied just before baptism? The new revised version came out in 2002 with two major chapters being deleted....

    1980 - United in Worship

    Chapter 19 - What does the Mosaic law mean to you?

    Chapter 20 - Life and Blood do we treat them as sacred?

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    2002 - Worship the True God. {Exactly the same chapters except}

    Chapter 19 - Continue to speak of God's works.

    Cahpter 20 - Keep close in mind Jehovah's day.

    The chapter on the Mosiac law was useless since we are no longer under that law. The old chapter on blood was very right wing and dogmatic about refusing blood....even if you need to die. Wonder why these chapters are gone?

    To cover their behinds in courts. They never told anyone not to get transfusion, everyone came to that conclusion by themselves...

    I didn't realize there was a revised edition of the worship book. I agree with Teel. All blame gets placed back on the publishers' shoulders. I remember several years ago they told the elders that if a publisher gets arrested for crossing the no trespassing signs it was the publishers fault. The witnesses were not to call the society for any help with the authorities.

    So much for help from the mothership. They show time and time again that they will leave the witnesses high and dry without a thought.

    They don't use that book anymore, either. Noo Lite provided them with "Keep Yourselves in God's Love" which is as Borgy as anything ever published.

    The book "Worship the True God" was meant as addition to the Knowledge book - which already covered the blood subject in chapter 13.

    Yeah, but since they now allow blood fractions, the chapter on blood in that United in Worship (lol title) book now sounds like a contradiction.

    Can't have that.

    "What Does the Bible Really Teach" book is what is used with new bible studies.

    None of the books I studied to become a Witness are considered "valid" for bringing in "sheep" anymore, which tells you something. It's like they hit the reset button every 5 years anymore.

    Well, more like 3 years lately...frankly, they change their minds on teachings more than girls change their clothes. Who can keep up?
