Just wondering if it lives up to its JW hype. I remember direct consel from the platform about this, has anyone since seen it?
Have you read/seen Harry Potter since?

I was long out when Harry Potter arrived. But I did happen to manage a large bookstore when the books hit. I hated the damn things. Made my life difficult.
One day I was sick and layed in bed and watched the first three movies all in a row. Enjoyed the heck out of them.

I seen them all, awesome movies! To me, it's FANTASY. None of the magic in the movies is real, can't do it, it's like Xmen. Has monsters, a different world, etc.
Many seen Lord of the Rings but didn't see Harry Potter, no more magic/etc, or even then Cinderella, etc.
That's my opinion on it.

If I was in that demographic I would love them............ I watched them on cable (like in the middle of the night so as not to be found out---ya laugh at me)........ ditto for the Ring Trilogy too.

I've seen all of the movies (multiple times, my kids can't get enough of them) except for the final two which I eagerly await (kids also) and I've read most of the books (my 12 year old daughter has read them all, starting when she was eight).

Heck, I'm trying to get to the new theme park!
Peace!
SA, on her own, who didn't read the books (didn't have time - was in school), but has seen every HP flick (as well as Twilight - saw the first one kind of by accident (was bored and nothing else playing) and, well, wanted to know what happens next, so saw the next... and Alice in Wonderland... and all of the Lord of the Rings saga) and can't wait for the next HP movie to come out... 'cause I ain't ascared 'o no book or no movie because ALL things are clean... to clean people. It's not what goes INTO a man that defiles him... but what comes OUT of him...

I watched it when I was an elder and still watch it now. As EoM says - just fun fantasy!

Yes, and I love them!! Not that I was ever very obedient to the counsel about movies. If I liked a movie and it didn't bother my conscience then I would see it, just not tell anyone. I knew, eventually, once the initial histerya had passed, most witnesses would watch it anyway.
