  THEREFORE, just as a tongue of fire eats up the stubble and into the flames mere dried grass sinks down, BECAUSE they have rejected the law of Jehovah and the sayin of the Holy One of Israel they have disrespected. That is why he will stretch out his hand against them and strike them. And their dead bodies will become like the offal in the midst of the streets.

  You're right, I dont.

  Anyone can take something written 2500 yrs ago and make it fit whatever the angle is they are trying to make.

  It's time specific material and once fulfilled at that specific time it then becomes redundant prophetically. It then falls into the historical warning category but has no future outcome attached to it.

  But that has NEVER stopped anyone from trying, esp so the WTBS!!.

  My understanding of spiritual things, God, the spirit creatures, is like going into another dimension, it's undescribable, bit scary, also exciting at the same time. Wish someone could relate to me, or I know who is going through the same thing.

  Anywho, a good part of Isaiah, especially the beginning, and the parts talking about Immanuel.......they seem to be yet for the future? Or would have been prior to Jesus time.......reading them, it is seeming like a sci fi future though. As if the description is that mankind at the onset of the 1,000 year reign, was almost brought to extinction again just as in Noahs time, OR a certain part of the world, and cities and areas becoming overgrown. O and the part about horses likened to flint and the descriptions of those being raided, seems almost like an ancient description of tanks and automobiles going down the streets. (would appear as fire and the roaring noise of the machines) Where it speaks of flying, as in airplanes.

  Anyway I haven't done much research into those chapters and in what way they would have been fulfilled or be talking about Jesus. Just wondered if anybody ever saw it in that viewpoint too? (for the record, it's only an observation right now, not saying that's what it means)

  I do think my main post in this thread, is referring to WT and like organizations, since there are thousands of sects which have went beyond God's word and the harm their regulations have done.
