It's only that thepetitionsite.com works that way, you can check not to have your name displayed. It's a general petiton site, they won't forward your name to the GB
1000 signatures is nothing I'm afraid, especially if they come from an online petition. Not that any amount of signatures would do anything, but I bet if there was a paper list of signatures in order of ten thousands, the GB would at least have a discussion about it. .....then they would decide the control needs to be tightened, some are slipping.

The petition only got 33 sign in the end...
I guess that illustrates a challenge to gaining support does it not.
Have been reading as far back as 7 years ago regarding an inititive Terry once proposed...Perhaps one of the ways the WT will 'win' is that a good many of us have too much to lose by being public. I mean, what would happen to my kids relationship to me if my name and picture appeared in print as an 'active apostate'?
I dont think we are all apathetic, just scared.
I dunno....
