I'm kinda obligated to make an appearance there for the sake of, well.... appearances. Thankfully we don't have to go on Sunday and be forced to sit through the "stirring" drama. It's funny that the part of the convention I anticipated most when I was a kid (Sara Lee cheese danishes, notwithstanding) is now the main thing I don't want my own kids to see. Despite the cheesy voice-over acting and crappy props, it always seemed to leave it's mark, and my oldest (still an adolescent) is highly impressionable right now.
That said, my wife and I did kinda want to hear the final talk on Sunday for ourselves so we could ask family what they thought about it.
