Who's redeemer is Jesus anyway?

pg. 26, paragraph 9 - mankind's Redeemer - is this not confusing? Is he the redeemer for the 144,000 or mankind? Which is it? Is this a new understanding or a slip or just an unqualified mankind's but technically just the anointed?

Oops ... sorry, I was confusing mediator with redeemer ... never mind.

God, who is said to have inspired the Bible made things complicated, by being vague and failing to give us periodic updates- maybe 2000 years will be soon enough to get a course correction.
