When time is short, quick one-liners

Eman has highlighted with great effect the quick-hit type of approach when you're confronted with the question "Why have you left Jehovah" or words to that effect.

How about thinking of simple one-line replies for the occasions when you can't string a number of points into a hard-hitting paragraph?

Here are a few suggestions:

Dub: Why have you left the organisation?
You: I'm trying to catch up with Jehovah, He left long ago!

Dub: Why have you left Jehovah?
You: I haven't, just don't see that Jehovah's with the org.

Dub: Why have you left the organisation?
You: Because they teach the commands of men instead of the Word of God.

Dub: Why have you left Jehovah/org?
You: Because they teach that Jesus is not my mediator.

Any suggestions?

I mentioned this to my mom-in-law and she said that was not true. But I remember hearing that Jesus is the mediator only between Jehovah and the annointed, we benefit by extension. If anyone knows where that is stated in the literature, please post or email me with it. I will, in the meantime, start looking for it.

I agree. The will you turn back to Jehovah thing is infuriating. The question is totally assumptive and can't be answered yes or no. You might as well reply is it true that JW's only beat their wives on Friday night, yes or no?
