New York Landmark Commission DID NOT allow Mosque

  While the major news outlets love to hype up the NY Mosque issue, the facts speak otherwise:

  - The NY Landmark Commision did not vote in favor of a Mosque close to the World Trade Center site. They have no authority to do so. How the building and land are used are zoning issues.

  - The only authority the Landmark Commission has it to determine if a building should receive "Landmark" status. By law, if a building receives Landmark status, the building cannot be torn down nor can the appearance of the exterior be changed.

  - Even if a building is given Landmark status, it's use is still not determined by the Landmark commission. Buildings with Landmark status are used as anything from housing to restaurants to churches to ... whatever.

  - When the Landmark Commission susposedly voted "in favor" of the Mosque, it was just a vote (unanamous) that the building as it stands has no historical or "landmark" purpose. It's just a building similar to others in the area.

  So this notion that they voted in favor of a Mosque is totally wrong.

  The Landmark Commission was basically the last legal challenge that opponents of the Mosque had to use since it had passed all other requirements.

  That is another way Osama Obama is trying to ruin our country. It was Muslims that destroyed the World Trade Center. Putting a damn mosque there would be exactly what they set out to do--replace a value creating structure with one of their own structures. That is like putting a Kingdumb Hell at Danny Haszard's house--freedom of religion aside, putting a mosque where the World Trade Center used to be would only incite the Muslim radicals to blow something else up, knowing another mosque would be put there. And, pretty soon the United Tyranny of America (that used to be a fine country until Osama Obama was installed as "president") will be one great big mosque.

  I would be all in favor of impeaching Osama Obama, even if it means putting Hillary Clinton in the White House. In addition to the impeachment, he deserves to spend life in jail, or the death penalty (whatever they do for high treason), and have him watch Kenya be added as the 51st state, as a part of the New United States of America where prosperity is back to being normal. And, his sickness care bill replaced with a rule that allows medicine to be practiced without a license (as long as the practitioner doesn't have a fake license), the fake energy crisis replaced with nuclear fusion and other sources of free energy, and his depression replaced with garage entrepreneurs running the economy back into prosperity. Of course, this scumbag doesn't deserve to benefit.

  As for the mosque, let's put it where it belongs. If there is going to be a mosque, it should be where putting one actually makes good business sense. Another world trade center belongs where the first one used to be, and it should be built twice as big and twice as strong as the first one was.
