Just got done watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

My wife and I just watched the series finale of DS9. We watched all 174 episodes and I gotta tell ya, it was a very enjoyable show. I never watched it when it was on TV and I am a big Star Trek fan. So far we have watched all of The Next Generation and now Deep Space Nine, has taken us about 3 years.

Onto Voyager...

Just ignore "Enterprise", as it sucked. Voyager only got good when "7 of 9" came on and wore that awesome skin tight outfit. Oh God, that was one amazing outfit!!!! Jerry Ryan was hot.

I watched Voyager when it was on TV, but my wife has not seen it yet. Jerry Ryan is very hot, but you said it only got good when she was on it? I would recommend porn if that's what makes a show good for you :) :)

I would accept your recommendation, but I already found porn years ago. ;) Actually, it did get good to look at when she came on. However, to be honest, the stories got better too ... when she came on. There was another character, female, before her. That to be quite honest, was annoying, and the stories she was in were lame. When they brought Seven in, they changed the writers, the stories went up in quality. You will see what I mean, as it is a generally agreed upon comment from Trekkers.

I liked DS9 but the re-runs aren't shown around here; stopped in the middle of the series. I can see all the others.....

I enjoy all science fiction stuff (except that sci-fi channel made for them only stuff).

unfortunately after 2-2 1/2 seasons only 1/2 the episodes are good.

then you get into shows like dark angel or doll house and the minute they have an inkling that the show might get cancelled they try to fit 2 seasons into 5 episodes

My wife is a Sci-Fi junkie. After the Star Trek series, she bought the Babylon 5 shows, then Stargate, Firefly, Farscape and then finally Battlestar Galatica. I surprised she does not talk to her computer yet.

If you liked DS9, I'd suggest watching the Babylon5 series. It is a far superior show in both story lines and execution than DS9. In fact, the whole concept of DS9 was stolen from the producers of B5. The producers of Star Trek only got to market faster because they already had the Star Trek Universe infrastructure in place.

Actually I did watch Babylon5 and found it was quite different from DeepSpace9. There are so many similarities with any sci-program in general but there were interesting twists.

I'm looking forward to the return of Caprica on SyFy and Merlin.
