Illustrate why a husband should treat his wife
    gently.

15 In this respect, an experienced married
brother illustrated why a husband should
treat his wife gently, as “a weaker vessel.”
“When you hold a precious and delicate
vase, you must not grasp it too firmly, or it
may crack. Even if repaired, the crack may remain
visible,” he said. “If a husband uses
words that are too strong with his wife, he
may hurt her. This might cause a lasting
    crack in their relationship.”—Read 1 Peter 3:7.

From the study article for tomorrow.

This is such chauvinistic dribble. I expect any women out there with half a brain to see right through this crap!

Ther term "weaker" cannot be avoided here. It is a direct statement that women are weaker mentally than men... I mean seriously are we in the 7th century BC or something?

    Maybe Ron Burgundy was right?

So jw husband should only address their wives with baby talk, not use to many words, and avoid if possible big words like "theocratic".

Wonder if this could possibly be related to any lawsuits brought against the Watchtower Society/local elders for encouraging sisters to remain with abusive (Jehovah's Witness!!) husbands...???

Nah. They have been spewing that same crap since I was a little kid and it was still exceptable for a man to beat his wife and kids.

Yeah, but it's okay to beat the hell out of her.
