Its bad enough in the 'western' world getting over these issues and discovering who you are again.

But what of individuals that have been disfellowshipped from underdeveloped countries, just for instance, in Africa.

Here we have a person who may have come from a tribal village background who has forsaken his communities traditional indigenous culture, in the middle of 'nowhere', sacrificed everything to become a Witness, taking in this NY westernised view. At some point along the journey s/he has been disfellowshipped. What must it be like, can you imagine trying to reintegrate yourself towards normal community life, whilst concurrently juggling all these same issues? My heart goes out to them, for maybe there is a high chance that they have no access to the internet and/or communication with others to assist them and respect their culture at the same time.

How could we reach out further to assist such ones through practical measures?

Out of interest, what is the disfellowshipping suicidal rate in under developed countries as opposed to the western culture?

Any websites out there, perhaps in the Commonwealth or elsewhere that we could work with?

Some of us have really got our work cut out for us.

    Peace and whatknot(?)

    Mark
