Once you get away from the craziness of the WT world, you realize how unimportant the whole thing has ALWAYS BEEN.
When they finally close the doors no one will notice because they never were important.
The Jw's will go out "not with a bang but a whimper."
Yeah they are a small footnote in history but a very large catastrophe to those of us whose childhoods their dream killing, fun phrohibiting rules have delieberately permanantly left their ugly scar on. I can only look back with sadness at how much fun growing up in the magic sixties might have been had I not been a JW.

On the other hand there is a high you experience when you stop being a Witness like what you feel when recovering from an illness.
I feel so good now that they stopped stepping on my brain.
Yup, a pretty insignificant group with delusions of grandeur. It is amazing when that realization comes - another step towards a full recovery for many people.
I would love to turn my back on it completely, but there are still many people - people that I love - being hurt by this little bully.
