    In Memoriam 9/11

    In Memoriam

This picture was taken with my Minolta camera at sunrise one early brisk morning around 1978 or 1979 from the roof above my room at 107 Columbia Heights, Penthouse level. I had watched the completion of the towers from my Bethel room for several years. Although I thought they were ugly, I cried profusely when I saw them go down. So much pain and horror. For Allah.

It was a very sad day in America. I will never forget 9-11.

The pics are good and so nice to see now.

I hated big cities and tall buildings. I wouldn't go up to the top of the towers because I knew it would give me nightmares. Too Hollywood for me.

I was a country boy; hanging 1500 feet over the Grand Canyon was nothing to me. It was not the city of men.

There is a cloud that hangs over the cities of men. It clouds the mind from the greater realities of life.

Take the red pill, if you can.

    Fantastic photos, thanks for posting.

It is said that most people remember where they were/what they were doing when they first heard that JFK had been shot.

Now it's seems to be most people remember the same about the Twin Towers.

    Peace to all

I was woken up by my public defender roommate downstairs with this devastating phone call left on my answering machine.

I got up, showered and watched the news. My life changed that day. Not for the better.
