After sending in my DA letter the elder that I genuinely like called me this morning. I instructed in my letter that if they decided to talk to me they would be limited to only the Bible.. I need some thoughts.. I want to go in prepared with points of discrepancy that I can point to directly in the Bible...Its sad becaus I love the friends its the culti-ness I cant deal with. Im just glad my family was never in.

Be careful! I let myself get persuaded into returning to the meetings in 1998. When I finally left in 2006, I refused to have more than a 5 minute discussion with an elder. Since I worked full time, was a college student, caring for a very young hyperactive nephew, I used my situation as an excuse for missing meetings and not being able to have long discussions with elders.
When I left the second time, I knew I needed a permanent vacation from WTS teachings.
