Perhaps this has already been covered ... but ...

This especially stood out to me like a sore thumb since the service meeting just days before covered the topic of why Jehovah's Witnesses are not false prophets.

Todays Watchtower study from w7/15/10 pg 11 paragraph 18

(paragraph 18) We too have the privilege of announcing
Jehovah's name and purpose. Think of
this: As a direct result of our preaching work,
God's enemies will not be able to plead ignorancewhen
    they come face-to-facewith him
during his great day. Indeed, like Pharaoh of
old, they will know that it is Jehovah who is
acting against them. (Ex. 8:1, 20; 14:25) At
the same time, Jehovah will honor his faithful
servants by making it abundantly clear
that they were, indeed, his representatives.
    -Read Ezekiel 2:5; 33:33.

Then, of course the verses cited in Ezekiel were read ...

(Ezekiel 2:5) And as for them, whether they will hear or will refrain-for they are a rebellious house-they will certainly know also that a prophet himself happened to be in the midst of them.
(Ezekiel 33:33) And when it comes true-look! it must come true-they will also have to know that a prophet himself had proved to be in the midst of them."

Both of these verses are being applied to Jehovah's Witnesses, yet notice in the paragraph, they are not referred to as prophets, but representatives! - WTH!

Before moving on to the next paragraph, conductor gloats, at Armageddon everyone will know Jehovah's Witnesses were right.

Without the End Times tag on everything attached to the Watchtower religion who would even pay attention to them?

It is all about telling before (professing) Armegeddon and prophecy has been the hallmark of their creed from day one.

Pastor Russell's hard on was for Adventist adventure in charting exactly when Christ would do the dirty in destroying His enemies.

Russell pretty much accepted that Jesus had ALREADY come and that Armageddon was just ahead (1914).

All this has been pushed and pulled and reshaped into self-propaganda by the Watchtower over the years.

Modern Day JW's look backward through a veil of retelling of their own story.

This retelling is shaped into a pristine Pastor with some carry-over paganism fighting to establish the True religion in a world gone mad.

Jehovah chose Russell's warped group for purification at the hands of Judge Rutherford and Fred Franz.

All the while every other word out of the mouths of colporteurs and pioneers was DOOM! around the corner.

False dates, false reasoning and false interpretations of the failures of these non-events REPRESENTS Jehovah to the world as the leader of a crackpot fringe group intent on making asses of him.

    Representatives indeed!
