    Hey doesn't matter,

I just left the witnesses 5 months ago and let me tell you the literature is not free. It may be free to people who are not witnesses but the witnesses had to pay for it. If a congregation doesn't cover the cost of literature all future orders are cut short until the money is made up. When I visited congregations in Mexico they would get maybe two bibles and a few books a month and the magazine in limited quantities. If this was really free they would have good stocks of literature regardless of how much donated every month. I remember clearly when I was a kid when the WT change the system to collect funds for the literature. We were told that we would no longer collect a contribution. We would offer the literature free and discreetly metion that they could offer a donation to the worldwide works. We were also told that we should pay for the literature our selves in the kingdom hall. The point is to get the reader hooked and hopefully he becomes a cult member and start buying literature himself. Think About it.
