I am appaled took that now you can take blood at your own discretion it sickens me all the lifes that have been took because of this.

I couldn't agree with you more. One of those people whose lives were lost was my cousin.
Children have rights that are separte from their parents. Just like you don't have the right to physically or mentally abuse your child, you also don't have the right to choose whether your child should live or die when they are injured.

What if I wanted to smother my son to death after he suffered an injury that paralyzed him? I would go to prison for murder. What if I believed, through my religion, that he was not worth the time and resources after such an injury? I would still go to prison and get raped by bubba.

The Blood Doctrine is no different. It is a lawful form of murder and it defies the sanctity of life and therefore is among the lowest forms of evil.
