“We’ll find something,” said Randall, the development director. “Maybe this wasn’t the right property. We want just to be able to worship in their hometown. (FOR AS CHEAPLY AS POSSIBLE) That’s what it comes down to.”

It would have housed only worship services – no classes, day care or athletic events.

And it would average about 100 attendees for its services, to take place weekly

on Sunday mornings and one weekday evening, leaders said.

“It’s going to depreciate the value of the property. ... I can’t see it not,” John Marino, president of the Mallard Point homeowners’ association. "

What's this guy thinking? What could be more fun than having a Kingdom Hall in your neighborhood?

So, there will be no service meeting and car-pool traffic on Saturdays? I think they would have had a better chance with the zoning board by being candid, rather than stretching the truth so far. Everybody in town knows what Witnesses do on Saturday mornings!

Traffic, lighting, noise and decreasing property values.

That being the case then they sure don't want a day care center there, and they don't want any athletic events taking place there, like some other churches do.

These are the things the neighborhood is concerned about.

You think it has to do with "being a real estate company"?

    Give me a break.
