That is a fantastic article. It shows just how incorrect Watchtower information regarding blood and the health industry are. If whole blood transfusions are never needed, then there would not be so much research going into trying to find alternatives. Also the idea that doctors only use blood because it is "big business" is also deceptive. There is just as much money to be made from a whole blood alternative and doctors would gladly prescribe it if an alternative could be developed, but the reason they still use blood is that it is the safest, most effective treatment available.

The stuff is made from cow's blood.
The Watchtower anti-blood doctrine is pumped up and full of hot air. Nothing more than another attempt at controlling you with "don't you have it so good in here with our protection and super-special secret donctrines from the 'Faithless and Diseased Slag' class"? Aren't we special? Those in Christendom are going to die at Armageddon because they won't listen to us and we are "The Truth". Yup, we are in "The Truth" but not saved - have to work for that gift - you know? We have to accept that gift by paying for it with exclusive devotion to a man-made paper person called a "Corporation". But don't worship a flag, it's made of cloth.
Many people died when the WT declared it was "cannibalism" to have an organ transplant. Now it isn't cannibalism, or is it? Did they officially rescind that doctrine? Or just drop it with silence and secret communications to elders that it was now ok and to not counsel anyone against getting a transplant - as long as the blood was washed out ....
The one you obey is your master. You are responsible for what you believe. "The head of every man is the Christ". No elders, JW appointees, WT editors, none of them - not one. Not anyone.
