I recently watched this Swedish film via Netflix streaming, and I really enjoyed it. (There is currently an English-language remake in U.S. theaters. I have not seen the remake.)

The atmosphere and the acting were the strong points, IMHO.

Has anyone else seen it? What did you think?

I watched it and really enjoyed it. I liked its somewhat unique approach to the subject matter. Atmosphere, too, was a big plus.

Indeed. A vampire drama/thriller, mostly in the context of the lives of 12-year-olds. (This description does not do the film justice, but folks who've seen it will understand what I'm trying to communicate.)

I saw it and loved it. I don't think the remake will be as good, the subtitles are a plus for me and foreign films (IMO) have a better character build up. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who likes vampire movies- a very interesting take.

SAColton mentioned this film here about a year ago.

I bought it and loved it!

It was kind of dark, but that is what a serious vampire movie should be.

They spoke Swedish but I read the captions in English.

Now, I'll start looking in the theatres for the English one
