Just started listening to the elders school. What's all this talk of "The Chieftan Class" ??? They sure do like their *classes* don't they?

I think they're talkin bout the WTS interpretation of the Chieftain or Nasi mentioned in a prophecy in the book of Ezekiel. I think it's the one having to do with the temple and the re-apportionment of the the Promised Land. Damn I wish I had a Bible on CD-Rom!!!!!!

I always thought this referred to the Israelite arrangement of having heads over 10's, 100's, and 1000's. But, I could be wrong. At any rate, here is a reference:
"Right now in this time of worldwide distress, there is a need for 'pinces', yes, elders who will 'pay attention to all the flock' ... One reason is that the 'princes' - whether they be anointed or 'other sheep' - are loyally protecting the flock. ... During the past 50 years, the 'princes' have come clearly into view. 'Princes' who are of the other sheep are being trained as a developing 'chieftain' class so that after the great tribulation ..." - Isaiah's Prophecy - Light for all Mankind I, 2000, p 332
The idea of the "chieftain" class is not new. It's just another stupid way of making themselves seem important.
