Not only that, people have given their conscience and mind over to religious leaders of the Bible allowing for the great atrocities of the past 1800 years; Calvin, Luther, Henry VII, Evangelists Chalmers, Finney, Campbell etc., and name your Popes and Bishops.
They spewed their ideas of a Supreme Being so vindictive, and cruel it boggles the modern mind and sensibility.
