I was collecting my magazines at the KH tonight and the COBE opened the specially labelled package and removed the new "Flock Books" along with the badges for the elders Xmas meetup.
He gave one to each of the elders and therein followed a spirited discussion about the timing of the elders meeting over Xmas. They all agreed about the bad timing of this meeting; not that any of them celebrate Xmas you understand, but it is a time when they all get together with their families and friends. One of the elders is very put out because he always works on Xmas day and Boxing day and gets paid very special rates plus time off in lieu!
I thought shall I mention Matt 6:33 or suggest they give their manuals to my wife for spiral binding?
