Pretty much if you have confessed in fornication / homosexuality and are invited to a judicial committee and you don't attend, is that an automatic Dfing?

If your confession was to two people, especially one being an elder and especially if it were to two elders together, then YES.

If your confession was to one single elder and no repeating of it or saying that what you told the brother is true, then MAYBE NOT.

If you confessed to one non-elder and that's it, typically NO. But they usually have an investigation committee of two elders visit you to get a fresh confession before proceeding to the JC. I didn't catch who you confessed to. Whazzup?

I confessed to both, due to evidence being presented.

You being there is just an opportunity for you to kiss their asses and beg for forgiveness so you can stay.
If you don't do that, and maybe even if you did do that, then they will DF you. They don't need you there.

Yes, congratulations will soon be in order. So, congrats on almost being there.

Uh, we told you not to do that- deny, deny, deny. Oh, wait a minute, I'll bet you are the one who gave the evidence in the first place.
