The phrase "Playing God" is, with a moment's reflection, actually an indictment of God

From time to time we hear people someone condemn someone or some entity for "playing God."

If it's not morally upright for an individual or an entity to "play God" (we're not talking about identity, because God can't be anything but what s/he/it is), then why is it morally upright for God to "play God"?.

The obvious answer is that it isn't.

You have asked and answered your own question, leaving me redundant. It's ok, gladiators are used to this in today's world.

Nevertheless I will state that - Dogs do what dogs do. Gods do what gods do. Such is nature of all things.

Well, because we don't see the big picture or even the full picture and consequences of what we do. We don't know where our actions will lead.

God does know all these things, and more that I can't even conceive of.

I'm tired of forcing myself to respect and love a being who does things that seem terrible to me making the excuse that "that i can't see the whole picture" well what i do see sends shivers down my spine. No pretty flowers or tasty food is worth the death and pain that has been going on for centuries.
