Isn't it funny what makes you cry? I have had a lot of things to cry over in the past few weeks, IMHO. Yet, none really brought me to tears. Weighed heavy on my heart and mind, yes. Made me sigh, sometimes groan, even. But no tears.
Now... I can't stop crying. Silly me.

SA, who thinks it's because little Josie doesn't even know she's "supposed" to have four legs... and, although it appears that she loves her new wheels... didn't really care. Yes, I cry over people who have similar situations, too...

read good books
I have two dogs and one of them is a rescue dog. Rescue dogs have often been mistreated and some of them have problems other dogs don't have. My neighbor has a rescue dog that was shot in the eye and only has one eye now and is pretty scared of people and other dogs. I hate to see dogs mistreated, they're loyal friends when their not scewed up by bad experiences.
