Cher is on 20-20 tonight and she is going to discuss her new movie Burlesque and discuss her "son" Chaz...
I thought she had a dsughter?
I did a "Whattha" and then remembered she (Chaz) had a sex change operation didn't she?
I wish they would have had her new son on also, it would be interesting to hear some of the ordeals she/he went though and how he has been accepted by society.
I also heard the movie is supposed to be pretty good!

Cher looks amazing, but she has had a little too much plastic surgery. Looks a touch like a mannequin. Love her though.
Well I just looked it up about her daughter and apparently she hasn't had the operation for the physical part as yet . So can she really be called the "Son" of Cher yet?
She is now a lesbian (Chastity) so if she completes the operation and becomes a man will she still like girls? She would no longer be considered a lesbian would she?
If she switched to liking guys would she then be considered a "Gay"?

I'll be watching too. She has had a lot of plastics done. Wonder what she'd look like if she were like one of the rest of us mere humans? Why do girls often look like there dad? Cher was pretty and had a daughter who look like sonny. Ugh.

From the first time I saw her on Ed Sullivan or whatever show it was she was amazing..Sonny her husband seemed to just be along for the ride. His physic did give her plenty of ammunition for jokes though...

Cher clearly did not have much exposure to transgender individuals before Chaz started the discussion with her over a decade ago; but she seems to understand the difference between sexuality and gender identity, even if she does not articulate it particularly well. She fluctuates between referring to Chaz as "he" and "she" but is aware that this is problematic and does her best to remember to call Chaz "he." As a mother she is very supportive and indicates that, to Chaz, that fact is infinitely more important than using the correct pronoun.
